Premium Chinchilla Bathing Dust is a high-quality and very fine dust, and is the only kind available in New Zealand. It is mined from the purest deposit of white pumice on earth!
Chinchillas are always excited by dust baths - they allow them to enjoy their instinctive behaviour. Chinchillas need to have regular romps in dust as this is part of their natural grooming process; dust eliminates excess oil, dirt and moisture from their dense fur.
In their natural habitat, chinchillas bathe as often as they like in the volcanic dust found in the Andes mountains.
